Struisvogel is a snug basement restaurant where the tables are closely packed so if you want to whisper sweet nothings in private then this is not the place for you. It was great for an early evening dinner though.
The food was excellent, French style and €26 for 3 courses. Starters: one of wild smoked / cured salmon and the other, pate with berries. Mains: were wild Scottish venison steak and a lamb stew. Dessert and cheese plate were all excellent. Even the house wine was lovely! Happiness all around.
